Druhým súperom ktorý im dokázal streliť gól bol deviaty Aberdeen. So svojim dnešným súperom sa v tejto sezóne už stretli, doma len remizovali 1:1, nemyslím si však že podobný výsledok hrozí aj dnes.

Záver:
Glasgow je jasným favoritom zápasu, myslím že ide len o to akým výsledkom dokážu zvíťaziť, určite si ešte chcú upevniť svoje vedúce postavenie a St. Mirrenu to doma až tak nejde. Zaujímavý je aj kurz na víťazstvo Glasgowu v hcp, @ 2,14, prípadne že domáci nedajú gól @ 2,06, myslím že zápas by tak mohol skončiť 2:0 v prospech Glasgowu. Ja však budem radšej opatrnejší.

Rangers look set to be boosted by the return of both Sone Aluko and Dorin Goian for their Clydesdale Bank Premier League game against St Mirren.

Aluko is available for selection again after serving a two-match ban for diving and is likely to be added to the squad for the trip to Paisley.

Goian, who missed last week's win over Inverness with a fever, could also come back into contention after participating in some training this week.

St Mirren will be without the suspended Jim Goodwin for the clash.

The midfielder begins the first of a three-match ban this weekend following an altercation with Steve Jennings during last week's game against Motherwell.

Midfielder Hugh Murray could make his long-awaited return after recovering from knee surgery, while midfielder Steven Thomson is back in contention following a calf injury and defender Lee Mair has recovered from a knock.

Ally McCoist (Rangers): "I'm not even looking to the Old Firm game until 3pm on Christmas Eve. The Old Firm game is massive, of course it is, and I would rather go into the Old Firm game with three more points, that's for sure. We will have to earn them again. We saw enough in the game at Ibrox (1-1) to determine that it's going to be a really difficult game. I thought they knocked the ball about really well against us at Ibrox. As disappointing as we were - when we took the lead we couldn't get the second goal - from their point of view they scored a very good equaliser."

Danny Lennon (St Mirren): on Jim Goodwin's three-match suspension: "On the whole it's a bit of a blow for us, especially with what big Jim brings to team. But I've never been one to worry about something I can't have. I would rather concentrate on the qualities that I do have to go out there and get the job done. I can't condone what Jim did at all to be perfectly honest. We'll take that on the chin and we will move on from it. Jim will take his punishment and will learn from it. That's the biggest thing - that you do learn."
